The two-year wait for the next HazardEx conference is almost over, with the biennial event due to return in February 2016.
HazardEx on the Net reports that “lively interest” is expected for the 2016 conference, following on from the success of the 2014 event in Runcorn.
“The HazardEx biennial conference and exhibition has become the must-attend event for hazardous area sector networking, with attendees from government agencies, regulators, and certification bodies meeting up with senior engineers and safety managers to share their experiences,” the site adds.
Proceedings for the February 24th-25th event are due to be chaired by Lee Alford, operations manager at the European Process Safety Centre.
Susan MacKenzie, director of hazardous installations at the Health & Safety Executive, will also be present at the event to deliver one of the keynote speeches.
Delegates can attend one or both days, with the option of reception and dinner on either day as well, and some availability of free access for visitors to the exhibition area who register ahead of time.
For the 2016 event, HazardEx returns to Runcorn, with the Holiday Inn Hotel providing the venue.
