Cable Systems Ltd are a Electrical Wholesaler that specialises in the supply and manufacture products for use in Harsh & Hazardous environments. We provide specialist technical support on products to the Oil, Gas & Petro-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage industries worldwide and have done for over 40 years.
We are currently looking for a technical sales consultant/advisor to be based at our Warrington office.
Job details are:
This is a permanent office role that is based in Warrington, Cheshire. This position involves the following activities:
- Dealing with all customers communications.
- Make sure that sales quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Handle customer accounts and proactively look at ways to enhance the performance of the accounts.
- You will be expected to maintain good communications with internal and external clients.
- Deal with any additional duties as requested by management.
- UK and European Travel may be necessary to ensure delivery of business needs.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Finding effective solutions for customers
- Computer literate
- Articulate, dynamic, energetic.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to take responsibility for individual learning and continuous personal improvement.
Nice to have Skills:
- Previous sales experience, particularly within the electrical wholesaler/Trade desk operation would be a distinct advantage.
- Driving licence useful but not essential.
Training:
In this industry training is paramount, it is and will be a continuous process.
You may be required to travel occasionally for training purposes on manufacturer products both in the UK and Europe.
Internal training from a very experienced and well-established team at Cable Systems will be offered to the right candidate.
Hours of work:
Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm (45-minute lunch break)
Holidays :23 days holiday per year pro-rata plus statutory holidays.
Salary:
To be confirmed and will be based on the relevant experience of the candidate.
