The MD+ sealant is easily applied from a skeleton gun. The high quality, one component, flexible sealant “MD+” is based on a silicon compound that cures with air (Humidity).
High Gas & Water Tightness: Provides an elastomeric barrier against water pressure and hazardous gases, including Methane and Hydrogen Sulphide ($H_2S$).
Intumescent Fire Resistance: Air-curing, one-component compound that expands up to 10 times its original volume when exposed to temperatures above $200^\circ\text{C}$ to retard heat transfer.
Rail & Transit Certified: Tested to stringent fire, smoke, and toxicity standards, including London Underground (LUL S1085) and European rail (BS EN 45545).
Universal Substrate Bonding: Adheres to all common building materials and cable sheathings, including PVC, PE, PILC, and HDPE pipes.
Re-Enterable & Non-Toxic: Neutral, solvent-free, and shock-absorbing formulation that permits retrospective cable additions or removals without damaging existing infrastructure.

MD+ is an engineered fire resistant elastic one-component sealant, suitable for sealing penetrations against, gas & water & when used in conjunction with FiloSeal+HD FIRE, you can achieve a fire-resistant seal up to 4 hours.
The MD+ sealant is easily applied from a skeleton gun. The high quality, one component, flexible sealant “MD+” is based on a silicon compound that cures with air (Humidity).
After application and full curing the thixotropic MD+ forms a plastic elastomer mass with unique qualities effectively sealing and bonding, while providing a high level of durability.
In the event of fire or heat more than 200°C, the sealant starts to expand by about 10 times its original volume which increases its density and then makes it a very poor conductor of heat, thus retarding heat transfer.
