The Hawke 501/321 is a Group II certified single seal cable gland suitable for installation in Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 hazardous areas. Dual Certified ATEX/IECEx (along with many more) for use in Increased Safety (Exe) and Dust (Ext) protection concepts. For use with non-armoured elastomer and plastic insulated cables in indoor and outdoor applications. This cable gland may be used with braided cables where the braid and outer sheath pass into the enclosure.
- Metallic body construction – Brass Nickel Plated as standard
- Provides a cable retention and IP seal onto the cables outer sheath
When used in Increased Safety applications, this cable gland may be used with braided/armoured cable where the braid/armour is suitably anchored within enclosure - Single elastomeric compression IP/retention seal on cable outer sheath
- Rounded cable entry to prevent cable damage
- Available with metric or NPT entry threadforms
- Compatible with Hawke GMC (Gland Mounted Clamp) to provide integral cable support in line with the requirements of EN 60079-14 10.3
- Supercedes Hawke 321 cable gland
